Private Party Transfers - $25.00 must firearm) + DROSess your seller has charged you CA tax already.  The California Firearm and Ammunition Excise Tax (CFET) will also be calculated.  A copy of your invoice is necessary for documentation.

Every ammunition and firearm transaction is required by the CA DOJ to go through DROS(Dealer’s Record of Sale). This functions as a background check form, reporting system, and gun registration system. California registers all legally transferred and purchased firearms through the DROS system.

FEES:

DROS for firearms - $37.19

DROS for ammunitions(standard) - $1.00

Firearm Transfers - $40 per firearm + DROS

Intrafamilial Transfers - $40 per firearm + DROS

Private Party Transfers - $25.00 (per firearm) + DROS

Ammunition Transfers - $ 15 (for every 1000 rounds) + DROS

You will be charged CA tax on top of your invoice unless your seller has charged you CA tax already.  The California Firearm and Ammunition Excise Tax (CFET) will also have to be calculated.  A copy of your invoice is necessary for documentation. 

All shipments to our facility must have a “signature required” from the courier. If we did not sign it, we did not receive it. We are not responsible for lost items. We offer free lodging of your items for up to 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks, there will be a charge of $10.00 per week. Anything left for over 2 months are considered abandoned.
